Mission Trip

Scott and Cara Boss are the founders of Real Impact Missions and have twenty-three years of experience in training and developing over 8,000 missionaries and leaders while travelling to more than fifty countries. The Board of Directors of Real Impact, Tim Abare, Keith Wheeler, Tom Newman and Ken Young contribute their considerable gifts and their desire to share the simple message of God's love. Real Impact offers a mission trip to those thirteen years and older as an opportunity to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to thousands of people around the world. Real Impact is a Christian multi-denominational organization, recognized as a leader in custom pre-planned short term mission trips for individuals and groups who will help to change the world forever. By helping with personal evangelism and ministry presentations or working with mobile medical clinics and work relief projects, the mission trip enables the reaching out, the meeting of needs, the giving of self and the sharing of The Truth.

Real Impact has trained and mobilized thousands of missionaries and leaders and has learned how to help people have the best mission trip experience anywhere. Real Impact maintains a balance between personal challenge, unique ministry, spiritual formation and recreation. A mission trip is an investment of time and talent and from initial contact, the Real Impact team is committed to newcomers every step of the way. The goal of Real Impact is simple-to change the way missions trip participants think about the world, the way they see people and the way people see God. Real Impact wants to see hearts healed, minds changed and bodies mended on a worldwide scale. Real Impact invites people to give one year or more to RIM (Real Impact Missions).

RIM internship begins on September 1 and ends on August 1 and Real Impact will launch the learning behind the scenes at a major missions' organization with hands-on training. Potential mission trip trainees will develop their teamwork and leadership abilities and be given wonderful opportunities overseas and in their own cities, participating in projects as diverse as Habitat for Humanity and International Student Outreach. From street evangelism to working with the homeless, mission trip heralds will make a difference in lives one relationship at a time. Real Impact asks for those who are twenty-one years and older and who have previous leadership experience and a proven character to train as Team Leaders. They will provide motivation, direction, support and accountability for each of their twenty-five to thirty mission trip team members and will oversee the team's safety as they guide them through daily ministry experiences and visits to nearby villages. Real Impact mission trip advisors will disciple groups by leading group discussions, facilitating daily evangelism, and leading free-time explorations into the local culture. Real Impact takes safety of the mission trip participants very seriously and maintains contact with the US State Department to monitor the safety of each country they intend to visit. Real Impact also has an extensive leadership structure in each country. Real Impact will alter the mission trip locale if physical or political conditions make travel inadvisable.
