Tangibly care for the people of Kenya through the work of RIM’s medical mission trip team. Treat more than 1,200 patients in just one week! Join us as a doctor, dentist, nurse, health care professional, medical student or a servant-minded team member as we partner with local churches to serve those who have no regular access to medical care. You’ll spend four days serving in mobile medical clinics set up in Nairobi’s Kibera Slums—the largest in Africa—bringing care to under-served communities with little to no access to medical treatment. Join the Kenya mission trip team as we embark on a journey to bring the love and healing power of Jesus to the people of this beautiful country!

Ministry Opportunities:

Triage – Nurses and translators work to take patient information and do initial assessments
Pharmacy – Pharmacists, nurses and volunteers work together to fill prescriptions
Surgery – Doctors, nurses and medical students perform small outpatient procedures
Vitals – Volunteers check blood pressure, temperature, glucose level and heart rate
Treatment – Doctors and nurse practitioners treat illnesses and injuries, as well as do well-baby checks
Eye Glass Clinic – Volunteers test vision and dispense reading glasses
Prayer & Gospel – All volunteers and medical staff share Christ with each patient and pray for them and their families! We see many decisions to accept Jesus as well as patients who need healing
