Medical Mission Trips

One heart. One mind. One body.

Tangibly care for people around the world through the work of a Real Impact medical mission team!

In each location, we'll partner with local ministries to serve those who have no access to regular medical care. Join us as a doctor, dentist, nurse, health care professional, medical student, pharmacist, nutritionist, EMT, paramedic, or any other medical specialty. We also accept non-medically trained individuals who would like to serve.

Together, we'll treat 1200-1500 patients in just one week! You'll experience four days of mobile medical clinics in under-served communities. We setup each day in churches, schools, or parks, and we minister through prayer, encouragement, health education, medical treatment, preventative care and more.
 

 Ministry Opportunities

  • Triage - Nurses and translators partner to take patient information and do initial assessments

  • Pharmacy - Pharmacists, nurses and volunteers work together to fill prescriptions and explain instructions

  • Surgery - Doctors, nurses and medical students work together to perform small outpatient surgeries

  • Vitals - Volunteers check blood pressure, temperature, glucose levels and heart rate

  • Treatment - Doctors and nurses treat illnesses and injuries and also do well-baby checks

  • Eye Glasses - Volunteers check vision and dispense reading glasses

  • Education - Nurses and nutritionists teach short classes on hygiene, nutrition and other topics

  • Prayer & Gospel - All team members share Christ and pray with patients and their families. We see many accept Jesus alongside the medical care they receive from our clinics!!

Adventure Activities

  • Shop at local markets and try your hand bartering with local artisans

  • Explore ethnic foods at local restaurants 

  • Select locations offer more adventurous options like hiking a volcano and roasting marshmallows in Guatemala or taking a safari in Kenya

Trip Cost Includes

  • International airfare from a hub city in the USA*

  • In-country meals (hot breakfast/dinner, sack lunch)

  • Fees for vaccinations or preventative meds

  • International Health Insurance ($3.65/day)

  • Additional costs incurred due to trip interruptions such as flight delays or cancellations, natural disasters, wars, pandemics, bad weather, etc.
