Peru has much to offer for foreign tourists, but many never see the devastating poverty of homeless men lying alone in the streets, sweet abuelitas completely abandoned by their families, and rural young people fleeing the dangers of their homes only to be overwhelmed by the new and unexpected troubles of urban life.
